Cape Leveque 2 Day Tour | One Arm Point


Highlights: Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, Sacred Heart Church, Lombadina Aboriginal Community, King Sound Tides, Middle Lagoon, One Arm Point, Cape Leveque.
Departing Broome we head North up the remote Dampier Peninsula where we stop for morning tea at the Aboriginal Community of Beagle Bay. This is the place of the historic Sacred Heart Church with its unique pearl shell altar. Explore the Beagle Bay Community and its unique lifestyle before heading to 'Nature's Hideaway' at Middle Lagoon.
Enjoy a healthy, fresh lunch and set up camp at the beautiful Middle Lagoon. Relax for the afternoon, snorkelling, swimming and exploring this secluded paradise. Enjoy a home cooked dinner followed by a night under the stars in comfortable swags and insect proof tents (upgrade to safari tents and camp stretchers available).
TOUR DAY 2
Departing Middle Lagoon after breakfast we continue up the Dampier Peninsula keeping a watchful eye out for bird and wildlife. Heading to Lombadina Aboriginal Community where we can meet the locals and learn a little about the history of this unique area.
Further North we arrive at the majestic Cape Leveque with its pristine beaches and feeling of ultimate seclusion.
Spend the afternoon exploring Kooljaman at Cape Leveque, swim in the sparkling warm waters of the Indian Ocean or partaking in optional activities such as mud crabbing, fishing or a guided tour. Leaving Cape Leveque we travel to One Arm Point Community and a visit to the Trochus Shell Hatchery for some insight into this unique type of farming. Marvel at the huge tidal swirls surrounding the Buccaneer Archipelago before heading back to Broome at a leisurely pace where we finish our adventure with a famous Cable Beach sunset (time permitting).
2 Day Tours include: Pick up and drop off from your Broome accommodation, all meals, iced water throughout the tour, camping fees, camping equipment, swags and insect proof tents, Aboriginal Community entry fees, snorkelling gear.
